The H442 is a Class 3 high-visibility outer protective garment, specifically designed for environments where persistent rain, wind, and the need for immediate visual detection are critical safety conditions. Made with durable PVC-coated polyester fabric, this raincoat offers an impenetrable physical barrier against moisture, serving as standard rapid deployment equipment for personnel in logistics, road maintenance, and field operations that require extended coverage during storms.

Technical Features and Operational Capabilities

• Industrial Watertightness (EN 343 3:1): The fabric treated with internal seam sealing prevents water penetration under pressure. Its structure prevents the garment from absorbing moisture, avoiding weight increase during intense rain and keeping the operator dry.
• High-Intensity Visibility (EN ISO 20471 Class 3): High-luminosity reflective bands cover the torso, shoulders, and sleeves, offering 360° detection in conditions of fog, heavy rain, or twilight. It is an essential tool for preventing incidents in areas with heavy machinery traffic.

Safety Notice and Limitations of Use

IMPORTANT: This is a garment for rain protection and visibility. It is NOT a thermal garment. Its insulating capacity is minimal; if protection against extreme cold is required, it must be worn over appropriate thermal clothing. It is strictly forbidden to expose this raincoat to direct heat sources, flames, or welding sparks, as the PVC coating is highly flammable and melts instantly, potentially causing severe burns to the operator. It does not offer protection against electrical or chemical hazards.

Maintenance Instructions

• Washing: Hand wash or wipe with a damp cloth. If using a machine, use a very gentle cycle at room temperature. DO NOT use solvents or aggressive detergents, as they degrade the PVC coating.
• Drying: Air dry in a shaded place. DO NOT tumble dry; dryer heat will irreversibly melt the plastic coating.
• Ironing: DO NOT IRON. Iron heat will destroy the waterproof structure and reflective bands.
• Inspection: Inspect before each use. If the PVC coating shows cracks, peeling, or perforations, its rain protection capacity is considered null and the garment must be replaced.
