The steel lifeline is designed to be used in chemical, abrasive or extreme heat environments in which the synthetic materials other lifelines are made of cannot be used.
A steel cable does not have the impact absorption capacity on its own, so it must always be accompanied
of a fall absorber so that it can be used as a lifeline that meets standards in the event of falls.
