Gate Valve Lockout Devices

Rotary gate valves are designed for extreme outdoor environments and require locking when serviced according to appropriate LOTO procedures.

The master lock series for locking gate valves cover the entire valve handle to prevent them from being opened or closed accidentally because they fit perfectly to the diameters of all existing valve handles.

They are made of an exclusive thermoplastic material called Zenex™ that withstands chemicals, UV rays, Hydrocarbons, welding sparks and has fire retardant to self-extinguish flames. They are also resistant to impacts, drops or accidental knocks.

It is compatible with all locking hasps and master lock padlocks.

Method of use

First step.- Select the correct size for the valve you are going to block.

Second step.- Make sure that the valve is placed in the correct position for the work to be done, in the open or closed position.

Third step.- Place the locking device around the gate valve handwheel

Fourth step.- Place the padlock and locking tag in the closed position.

Last step.- Make sure the valve is perfectly positioned.
