Technical Features and Operational Capabilities

• Kingsmill™ Engineering: The 245g fabric has been pre-shrunk to ensure the garment retains its original shape and technical fit after intensive use and professional wash cycles, optimizing inventory durability.
• Enhanced Visibility (EN 17353 Standard): Unlike High-Visibility (Hi-Vis) garments for highways, the F813 complies with the EN 17353 (Type B) standard, which guarantees enhanced visibility for medium-risk situations. Reflective tapes are positioned on the shoulders, arms, and legs to ensure peripheral detection of the operative in low-light environments.
• Movement Ergonomics: The action back and side elasticated waist allow for natural body flexion and extension, eliminating restrictions when performing loading, maintenance, or climbing equipment maneuvers, thereby reducing fatigue and the risk of tears in tension areas.

Safety Notice and Limitations of Use

IMPORTANT: This garment offers enhanced visibility for medium-risk environments (under EN 17353 standard). It is NOT a High-Visibility garment certified under EN ISO 20471; therefore, it must NOT be used on roads, highways, or high-speed traffic routes. This garment does not have flame-retardant, anti-static, or dielectric properties. Always perform a Specific Risk Assessment to confirm that the level of visibility and protection of this garment is sufficient for your operating environment.

Maintenance and Care Instructions

• Washing: Machine wash at a maximum temperature of 60°C. IMPORTANT: The use of fabric softeners, bleaches, or harsh detergents can cause premature opacity of the Iona™ reflective bands, nullifying their retro-reflective properties.
• Drying: Tumble dry at medium temperature. Avoid industrial drying at excessive temperatures to preserve the properties of the tapes.
• Ironing: Iron at moderate temperature. Avoid direct contact of the iron with the reflective bands, as excessive heat can melt the reflective surface.
• Inspection: Before each shift, verify that the reflective tapes are clean and free of damage. If the bands are cracked, detached, or covered in dirt/grease, visual detection capability is drastically reduced; in such cases, the garment must be removed from service.
