The RT61 is a high-visibility technical garment designed for extreme operational environments where rain protection, breathability, and visual detection are non-negotiable safety factors. Made from a 300D Oxford polyester technical fabric and coated with a polyurethane membrane, these trousers offer superior performance under high hydrostatic pressures, complying with the demanding EN 343 (Class 4:3) standard. They are the preferred equipment for road infrastructure crews, public utilities, and heavy construction working in adverse weather conditions.

Technical Features and Operational Capabilities

• Microporous Technical Membrane (Class 4:3): The fabric provides a superior water column (WP), blocking heavy rain, while allowing the vapor (MVP) generated by physical exertion to escape. This microclimate management prevents internal overheating and cooling due to condensation, reducing worker fatigue.
• High Definition Visibility (EN ISO 20471 Class 2): High-luminance reflective bands are positioned for 360° detection, complying with road safety standards. The design ensures that the operator's silhouette is instantly visible to drivers, even in low light conditions, fog, or heavy rain.
• Watertightness Architecture: All seams are thermally sealed using high-frequency technology. This eliminates micro-perforation leakage points, ensuring that the operator remains dry even with prolonged contact with wet surfaces or direct exposure to storms.
• Quick Access Ergonomics: Side access zippers are protected by storm flaps, allowing the worker to put the garment over their uniform and safety footwear without complications, optimizing operational times in abrupt weather changes.

Safety Notice and Limitations of Use

IMPORTANT: This is an extreme weather protection and visibility garment. It is NOT flame-retardant, not anti-static, and does not offer chemical protection. The waterproof capability of the trousers depends on the condition of their membrane. If the fabric is contaminated with oil, mud, or chemicals, it must be washed immediately, as these substances block the pores of the membrane, nullifying its breathable capacity and compromising its useful life.

Maintenance Instructions for Technical Membranes

• Washing: Machine wash at a maximum of 40°C, with liquid detergent for technical clothing. DO NOT use fabric softeners, as these degrade the breathability properties and the hydrophobic finish.
• Drying: Air dry. INDUSTRIAL DRYING IS PROHIBITED, as excessive heat melts the internal PU membrane and detaches the heat-sealed seams.
• Ironing: IRONING IS PROHIBITED. Contact with heat destroys the waterproofing membrane and burns the reflective bands.
• Inspection: Check the condition of the heat-sealed seams and reflective bands before each shift. If the bands are cracked or the membrane shows internal delamination, the garment loses its Class 2 certification and must be removed from service.
