Its Texpel™ Splash Eco finish, PFAS-free, effectively repels liquids from the surface, keeping the garment clean and dry during operational use.

Safety Notice and Limitations of Use

IMPORTANT: Although Portwest Extreme fabric and taped seams provide a barrier against wind and water, the user must check the integrity of the side zippers and seams before entering high-exposure areas to prevent leaks. The use of aggressive chemical products for washing that could compromise the Texpel™ Splash Eco water-repellent finish is prohibited.

Maintenance and Care Instructions

• Washing: Wash following the manufacturer's instructions for technical fabrics with a water-repellent finish. CRITICAL PROHIBITION: Do not use fabric softeners or bleaches, as these permanently nullify the properties of the Texpel™ Splash Eco finish.
• Drying: Air dry or tumble dry on low heat. CRITICAL PROHIBITION: Do not expose the garment directly to intense heat sources or industrial drying at high temperatures, as this degrades the taped seams.
• Ironing: Avoid direct ironing on areas with taped seams to prevent detachment or damage.
• Inspection: Regularly check the condition of the reinforced knees and side zippers to ensure there are no tears that compromise waterproofing.
