They are designed to operate in a wide range of harsh environments and conditions. However, it is important that exposure to high concentrations of solvent vapors be avoided, both during storage and during instrument installation and operation.
When using sensors with printed circuit boards (PCBs), degreasing agents must be used before the sensor is fitted. Do not glue directly on or near the CiTiceL as the solvent may cause cracks in the plastic.

Toxicity

Toxic gases at TLV levels will not have any cross-sensitivity effects on oxygen CiTiceLs. At very high levels (i.e. percentage
levels), highly oxidizing gases (e.g., ozone and chlorine) will interfere with the measurement of their oxygen equivalent, but
most other commonly occurring gases will have no effect.
