Signaling tapes are a fundamental element when it comes to delimiting danger or passage areas, since thanks to their striking colors they allow users to identify risks, preventing accidents.
Caution Tape (Yellow)
Caution tapes are generally used to delimit risk areas for both pedestrians and motorists. Caution tapes warn us about latent dangers in a given work area.
Danger Tape (Red)
This type of tape is used where there is a risk of imminent danger, such as falling objects. Only personnel involved in the work and aware of the dangers/risks are admitted to these areas. Red tape will only be installed with the authority of the first line supervisor.
recommendations
- It will be placed only in the area where the danger/risk exists. Cordoning off too large an area will interfere with other work.
- Carry out periodic maintenance on the tape or replace it in case of deterioration.
- The ribbon will be used in the corresponding color and no colors will be mixed.
Advantages
- Delimits to report a risk or accident or inform that maintenance is being prepared.
- It is highly visible from a long distance
